Phil Krawcuk Bio

I am the Teaching and Coaching Professional at D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club. Previously was General Manager/Executive Golf Professional at Lake Point Golf & Country Club on beautiful Charlie Lake 10 minutes west of Fort St. John, British Columbia. I have worked at many different clubs in several provinces. In 2013 I worked with Tim Watt and the D’Arcy Ranch Golf Club just outside of Calgary in Okotoks. D’Arcy Ranch Golf Club is a true public golf course and one of the busiest facilities in Canada. I graduated from Grant McEwan University 2003 where I studied Golf Management. In Edmonton I worked at The Petroleum Club, The Derek Golf, Winter Club and River Ridge GC. After my year at River Ridge I relocated myself in the Vancouver area where I was Director of Golf at Richmond Golf Town, there I became well acquainted with the use of use of video analysis, ball fitting, launch monitors and flight simulators. I have taken teaching very seriously over my years as a Class “A” member of the PGA of Canada. I was a facilitator for the CPGA of some years. This is our national TCCP (Teaching Coaching Certification Program).
The Falls Golf Resort was my life for 3 years where I was Head and became active in all areas of the development. After my time there the opportunity to be the Head at Sechelt Golf and Country Club presented itself so I enjoyed the Sunshine Coast for 2 years after which time the Golf Course Changed ownership. I was asked to stay on as Head but could not resolve some issues, at which time I resigned.
My energy and passion for the game of golf can’t be overstated. I also have won 2 CPGA events when I was in Southwestern Ontario at Westminster Trails Golf Club. I have had Top 3 finished in Alberta and BC zones as well.
Through my years of experience I am well acquainted with managing, organizing and running all areas of golf operations.
I enjoy selling and always make a point of knowing my product. I am willing and always excited to share what I know with whoever is willing to ask.
My career to this point has involved working in many parts of Canada, the USA and Europe. In 2012 I ran the North Shore Golf Club, where I grew up and my father was one of the founding members, this allowed me to move back home to Northern Ontario for a season to be around family and old friends.
