Born in London, Ontario, Alan moved to Montreal, Quebec at the age of 7.
Alan represented The Royal Montreal Golf Club as a junior / amateur golfer. Passionate about the game and business potential of golf, Alan enrolled and graduated from Georgian College`s Business Administration - Professional Golf Management program, where he played on the Georgian Grizzlies men`s varsity golf team.
He is currently part of the Titleist / FootJoy (Acushnet Canada) Leadership Advisory Staff as well as POLO Ralph Lauren Advisory Board.
Since turning professional, Alan has had the opportunity of being part the Professional Staff at some of the world`s greatest golf facilities:

From 2019-2023, Alan was the Head Golf Professional at St. George's Golf and Country Club in Toronto, Ontario, host to the PGA Tour's RBC Canadian Open in 2022. St. George's is the #1 ranked private golf course in Canada (SCORE Golf).
Alan is currently the Head Golf Professional at Glenmoor Country Club in Denver, Colorado.
