James Chapman
About
James Chapman's passion for golf started at a very young age playing and competing as a Junior. As a child playing every sport he was able, golf became his true passion spending much time on learning and experiencing all aspects of what the game had to offer. After high school, spending time in the United States on a University scholarship, gaining more knowledge about the game with new intentions to turn golf into a career. Many opportunities to grow the game is what makes James most proud, especially now seeing his two children enjoy the game while learning many life skills on and off the course being around the club.
James has over 20 years of golf course Management experience at various clubs, previous owner of the Golf Den in Sherwood Park and The Golf Den in Edmonton, AB where he coached and offered lessons full time. Now the General Manager of Glendale Golf & Country Club in Winnipeg, a private championship golf course and tennis facility.
James is currently President of the PGA of Manitoba.
