A member of the Canadian since 1990, Mike has been recognized as the Tex Noble Award winner (1995) by the PGA of Canada and Teacher of the Year (2000) by the PGA of British Columbia. Mike served as Director of Instruction at the McCleery Golf Academy in Vancouver BC between 1999 and 2021 and has serves as a member of the PGA of Canada's National Facilitation and Evaluation Team in it's Teaching and Coaching Certification Program.
New for 2023, Mike has found a new home at the Lago Golf Academy in Coquitlam BC, where he serves as part of a team of talented Teaching Professionals.
Over the years Mike has worked with a number of Canadas top Professional Golfers and had a student reach the top of Golf Canada's Future Links Order of Merit.
Mike cites Mike Adams, Hank Haney, Joseph Mayo, the team of Pia Nilsson and Lynn Mariott as influential in the development of his style and development as a Golf Professional.
